You

Anniversary Party. It will be a great weekend of salsa
dancing at the Melody Club for the weekend of September 13th
through 16th. Please join us for an unforgettable weekend of
performances, workshops and social dancing. Featuring
special guests from
New York , Eddie Torres the Mambo King, and the world famous
Francisco Vasquez creator of LA Styling from
Los Angeles . We will also be featuring dance companies
from all over
Texas .
It is
a great honor to have Eddie Torres, and Francisco Vasquez as
guests in the 8th Annual Guaguanco
Anniversary. Last year, Eddie Torres poured out his
heart to our Salsa Community. I was impressed by the out
pouring of his talent to us. Eddie Torres not only
performed every single night, but to my surprise he also gave
a private workshop to our community after each
performance. Take advantage of this rare opportunity to
have one of the greatest salsa dancers in our time come to
Houston . To all the Salseros that attended last year,
Eddie Torres stated that he had many more new shines to share
with us, so get your dance shoes ready.
Francisco Vasquez, the creator of LA style is ecstatic in
returning to
Houston
once again. I have
a great deal of respect and admiration to Francisco, since he
was one of the few persons that motivated and supported me in
starting my very own dance company Guaguanco Dance Company in
1999. It was an
impressive site to see Eddie and Francisco doing shines
together. Two
styles of dancing came together, for the love of Salsa. Their respect to each other was admirable.
Remember,
to take advantage of the workshops and don’t miss the
breathtaking performances. Hopefully we could see Eddie and Francisco do a unique
performance together.
Don’t forget the date September 13-16th, 2007 for
an unforgettable weekend of salsa.
Purchase your full pass for workshops
and performances by August 31, 2007 for $125.00. After August
